The Netaj Association signed a cooperation agreement with the Neighborhood Centers Association to benefit from the model centers and the social, cultural and entertainment clubs owned by the neighborhood centers by operating, preparing and using them in cooperation with the second party by establishing clubs to serve the elderly in those centers in cooperation with the General Administration for the Elderly in the Ministry of Resources human and social development
Each club consists of an equipped sports hall, a walking track, a lecture hall, a café and a swimming pool, and contains a database of its subscribers, and the service is provided by cadres of female employees and a nutritionist
The agreement was signed by the CEO of the Association and the Executive Director of the Association of Neighborhood Centers , This agreement stems from the desire of the two parties to develop ways of cooperation between them to spread the culture of social development work, which embodies the keenness of both parties to employ their capabilities in a way that serves and develops society and benefits citizens within a system of integrated work and joint cooperation that enhances the quality of life in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership in achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030
After reviewing the association’s efforts to achieve sustainability through a number of projects, including the (Jeddah Destination) project and its attention to digital transformation in its various activities to facilitate the provision of its services, the CEO said: “We are pleased today to sign this agreement with the Neighborhood Centers Association, which comes as an extension of a series of agreements and memoranda of understanding signed by the association with various sectors, including the non-profit sector, which embodies our keenness in the association to build bridges of cooperation with those sectors and expand our community partnerships to support Enabling and sustaining social work, facilitating business performance in it, enhancing the prosperity of this sector, enriching and stimulating its experiences, and maximizing the added value of it with all its original values and lofty moral connotations that translate the meanings of social solidarity, in the interest of the association to carry out its social responsibilities, and support the social and economic development path in line with the objectives of the association guided by the Kingdom’s development vision 2030
For her part, the Executive Director of the Association of Neighborhood Centers welcomed the signing of the agreement and said: “It embodies our keenness and the Netaj Association to enhance social responsibility by playing our roles in serving the community and enhancing the quality of life in it through participation and cooperation to provide the best services that leave their sustainable impact, in line with the objectives of the Development Vision 2030, and the signing of this agreement embodies the keenness to enhance community awareness and enrich experiences with the culture of social work and development service, stressing the keenness of the Association of Neighborhood Centers to achieve sustainable development By investing the strength of its presence in the neighborhoods and making alliances and partnerships to serve the people of those neighborhoods
