It is a standardized training program for children with mental retardation derived from the Comprehensive Early Childhood Development Program (PORTAGE). The program covers the most important areas recommended internationally.

It is a standardized training program for children with mental retardation and Down syndrome.
– Derived from the Comprehensive Early Childhood Development Program (Portage)
– Developmental Profile, which is a test of the child’s developmental profile.
– The program covers the most important recommended areas.
– Providing the child with basic experiences and skills that have an important impact on educational and development aspects.
– The program aims to develop basic skills (cognitive, communication, social, motor, and self-care)

Target group
1- All types of mental retardation category.
2- Down Syndrome: Those with mental retardation.
3- An intelligence level within the limits of mild or moderate mental retardation.
4- Age group from 3 to 12 years.
5- Levels are determined according to the child’s developmental age.

scientific method:
The program was formulated based on the codified “Portage” program, the Comprehensive Early Childhood Development Program
program duration:
The program consists of 6 levels, each level containing 5 basic areas. The duration of training at each level is 14 weeks, during which children are trained in various skills, ranging from simple, medium, to complex skills.
Training areas:
– Motor field.
– The field of independence.
– The social field.
– Cognitive field.
– Communication field.
